Mexican tax boutique targets Madrid
Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa announced that Pere M. Pons, a Spanish tax lawyer has joined the firm.
The firm, which is perhaps best known for its expertise in tax and tax litigation, is headquartered in Mexico City with two other offices in the country and a presence in NY.
Pere Pons will be initially based in the New York office and plans to relocated to Madrid in the summer 2018, according to the announcement posted by the law firm on Twitter.
Pons holds a law degree from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain; and a Master´s in accounting and taxation.
He joined Chevez Ruiz from the New York office of Uría Menéndez.
