Batalla bulks up environmental law practice
Batalla, the Costa Rican law firm, announced that Luis Cedeño has joined its environmental law practice group from EY.
Cedeño has expertise helping companies detect and manage their environmental and occupational health risks and responsibilities. He is also an auditor with certification in ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, OSHAS 18001, FSSC 22000. His workload includes advising on environmental and occupational health audits for companies in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua.
He graduated in law in 2012 from the Universidad Escuela Libre de Derecho and spent a significant portion of his career in private practice at legacy law firm Pacheco Coto, which joined EY at the end of 2017. Cedeño is the third attorney Batalla picks up from EY Law since the merger.
