Carey counsels Manutara Ventures on Chilean software investment

Chilean law firm Carey has advised local private equity firm Manutara Ventures on an investment in Barracks, a Chilean software developer.

online gamesBarracks is developing and promoting a groundbreaking software for the statistical analysis, training and preparation of players of online games in order to improve their performance in competitions, and also to provide key information to game developers.



Santiago-based Manutara Ventures focuses on investments in technology and innovation.

Carey’s lawyers engaged as counsel to Manutara were partner Francisco Guzmán, and associates Carlos Alcalde and Ignacio Alfaro.

The value of the investment was not disclosed.
