Martínez de Hoz & Rueda advises Delta Patagonia on YPF service station purchase



Argentinian law firm Martínez de Hoz & Rueda advised Delta Patagonia on its agreement to buy 124 service stations across the country from state energy company YPF. 



YPFThe service stations are located in 17 provinces, and the deal also includes an agreement to supply the stations with fuel. 

The stations acquired by Delta had previously been operated by YPF and Destilería Argentina de Petróleos (DAPSA) as the result of a public tender carried out following the bankruptcy of Oil Combustibles S.A.
 
The Delta Patagonia stations will be operated under the Gulf brand, following an agreement between Delta Patagonia and Gulf Oil Argentina.
 
Delta Patagonia stakeholders include Copetrol, Energía del Paraná and Barcos & Rodados, and which operate in several Latin American countries.

Gulf Oil, the US-based fuel and lubricants brand, is already active in Argentina.



Martínez de Hoz & Rueda partners José A Martinez de Hoz, Fernando Zoppi and Juan Cruz Azzarri, with associates Marcos Blanco, Germán Landau and Francisco Lobos, led the counsel to Delta Patagonia.

YPF was advised by in-house counsel Fabián Valle, while Gulf Oil Argentina was advised by Cangueiro Ruiz Abogados with a team led by partners Marcelo Cangueiro and Clementina Sanchez Farache.
