Marval advises ISS on Argentina, Uruguay divestments

Argentinian law firm Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal has advised Danish services provider ISS World Services on the divestment of its activities in Argentina and Uruguay.

The company ISSprovides facility management and property services, including security, catering and cleaning. The divestments include the sale of shares, quotas and other rights that the company had in both countries.

“The divestment reflects ISS’s strategy of focusing on its core business in markets with significant future demand for Integrated facility services and markets of importance for global key account customers,” the company said in a statement. 

The buyers are Natalio Massri and Fabián Parra, the shareholders behind Grupo Serza, which has 20 years’ experience in providing facility services in the Argentinian market.

Marval acted as legal adviser to ISS World Services with partner Javier Etcheverry Boneo, and associates Claudia Paluszkiewicz, Ágata Radajczyk and Julia Alonso.

Paul Warszawski and associate Marcela Silvia Regueira acted as legal advisers to Massri and Parra.
