Marval counsels TripAdvisor on Restorando purchase

Argentinian law firm Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal has advised TripAdvisor on the acquisition of Restorando, the Buenos Aires-based online restaurant reservations platform serving Latin America.

RestaurantThe transaction was carried out by TheFork, a TripAdvisor company, and which makes TheFork the leading platform in online restaurants reservations in Europe, Latin America and Australia, with more than 21 million visits per month and a network of over 60.000 restaurants in 18 countries.

Marval’s team advising TripAdvisor featured partners Pablo Artagaveytia and Diego Krischcautzky, and associate Lorena Aimo.

Restorando’s shareholders were advised by Gunderson Dettmer.

Estudio Garrido acted as legal adviser to the sellers, with partners Gustavo Garrido, Patricia Maccaferri, Maria Marta Cancio and associate Francisco Ruiz Guiñazú.
