BKM Berkemeyer advises Bajaj on Paraguay launch

Paraguayan law firm BKM Berkemeyer advised Indian motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj on its entry into the country, which included identifying a local strategic partner, regulatory advice and the legal and contractual structure of its business in Paraguay.



BajajPune-headquartered Bajaj is the world’s third-largest motorcycle manufacturer and the largest manufacturer of three-wheeled vehicles, with a presence in 70 countries. 

BKM also participated in the negotiation and subsequent agreement with Bajaj’s distributor in Paraguay, local company Asunción Motor Sport, part of Grupo JBB. 



The advisory role was carried out in conjunction with Argentinian consultancy First Corporate Finance Advisors.
