Holland & Knight, Estudio Muñiz represent Wells Fargo on BBVA Continental loan

Holland & Knight in the US and Estudio Muñiz in Peru have represented Wells Fargo Bank as sole lead arranger, bookrunner and administrative agent on a $100 million three-year senior unsecured syndicated loan to BBVA Banco Continental, one of the largest banks in Peru. 



well fargoThe transaction attracted the interest of 16 financial institutions from China, Germany, Korea and Taiwan, some of which represent new banking relationships for BBVA Banco Continental. 



Proceeds from the loan will be used by BBVA Banco Continental for working capital purposes.


Holland & Knight partner Stephen Double and associate Faisal Kraziem advised Wells Fargo on New York law, and Estudio Muñiz partners Andrés Kuan-Veng, Jorge Otoya and Juliana Llosa Bustamonte advised Wells Fargo on Peruvian law.
