Among the new hirings are Rodrigo de los Ríos Gordoa (pictured, left), who brings expertise in financial services and secured financing, and Carlos J. Perez-Chow (pictured, below), who heads the newly formed tax and estate planning practice.

Both additions complement the firm’s real estate and corporate/M&A practices, now offering a one-stop solution for complex projects and cross-border transactions.

Ibarra, del Paso y Gallego has also recruited Juan Manuel Álvarez del Castillo Vargas as a partner, an intellectual property (IP) lawyer with over twenty-five years’ experience in the IP arena with international and domestic law firms in Mexico, now tasked with heading the firm’s IP practice.

The firm has also added Jaime Rodríguez Eguiarte as partner and head of the labour and employment practice.

Rodríguez is advising clients on the effects of the significant changes to the Federal Labour Law announced on May 1. With nearly a decade and a half of experience on labour litigation matters, Rodríguez also strengthens the dispute resolution practice.

Carlos PerezChow“We are growing fast, despite an uncertain political and economic context, because we think the fundamentals remain strong, and because we believe in our capacity to act on the opportunities we see in selected markets,” according to founding partners Carlos Ibarra, Adrián del Paso and Gerardo Gallego.
