María José Henríquez promoted to partner at Morales & Besa
María José Henríquez has been named partner at Chilean law firm Morales & Besa, and who has more than a decade’s experience in competition law.
Henríquez (pictured), who has been at the law firm since 2016 and was previously the anti-cartel head at the National Economic Prosecutor’s office, will assume her new role in January 2020.
“The modifications to the Chilean free competition statute and its practical application by instititions in charge of managing the system have brought us new paradigms and challenges when facing M&A operations, and María José has demonstrated her exceptional capabilities of analysis, eecution and handling of the difficulties in moving forward in cases she has been assigned, Morales & Besa founding partner Guillermo Morales said.
