Baker McKenzie promotes 13 partners across Latin America


Global law firm Baker McKenzie has promoted 13 partners in Latin America, as part of a global promotion of 81 partners, bringing the firm’s total number to 1,550, and of which more than 400 are women.

LATAM MAPWomen also make up almost 40 per cent of the newly promoted 81 partners. 



The newly promoted partners are Patricia (Marianna) Ostolaza, in banking and finance in Lima; Luis Borghi and Javier Jaime González in dispute resolution in São Paulo and Monterrey, Mexico, respectively; Priscila Kirchhoff in employment and compensation in São Paulo; Ana Sofia Reyna in international commercial trade in Lima.



In M&A, the promotions to partner are for Geraldine Mirelman and Martin Roth in Buenos Aires, Paolo Robilliard in Lima, Felipe Calil in São Paulo and Carlo Andoni Perez-Arizti Morales in Mexico City.



Marco Antonio Nieto-Vazquez was promoted to partner in projects in Mexico City, while Horacio Neto in Rio de Janeiro and Javier Ordonez Namihira in Mexico City were promoted to tax partners.
