Marval advises on creation of Red Mutual 54 trust
Law firm Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal has acted as legal adviser in the creation of the Red Mutual Serie 54 Financial Trust and the issuance of trust debt securities for a total of 190,742,453 pesos ($3.23 million).
The issuance took place on August 9 and the total amount included the issuance of trust debt securities for 181,205,400 pesos and certificates of participation for 9,537,053 pesos.
Asociación Mutual Unión Solidaria acted as settlor and administrator; TMF Trust Company (Argentina) acted as trustee; Banco Voii as arranger and underwriter; BACS Banco de Crédito y Securitización, as general administrator, arranger and underwriter; and Banco de Servicios y Transacciones and Banco Mariva as underwriters.
The transaction was authorised for public offering by the Argentine Securities and Exchange Commission and will be listed in Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos and Mercado Abierto Electrónico.
Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal acted as legal adviser to the settlor, the arrangers, administrator, and the underwriters, with partner Santiago Carregal (pictured), and associates Sergio Tálamo and Jacqueline Berkenstadt.
Marval also acted as legal adviser to the trustee, with partner Roberto E. Silva, Jr. and associate Martín Lanús.
