Chilean law firm Pruzzo Ruscica Brotfeld launches
Chilean lawyers Dino Pruzzo, Javier Ruscica and Francisco Brotfeld, former classmates at the Law School of Universidad de Los Andes, have joined forces to create Pruzzo Ruscica Brotfeld Abogados, a law firm focused on environmental issues, natural resources and the energy sector.
Although they all begun their professional lives differently, the three lawyers share the same vision on how they wanted to develop their careers, forming a team to face complex challenges and stay ahead of their clients’ needs, encouraged by the challenge of facing a new professional stage in which they could print their own vision and identity to the exercise of the profession, the firm said in a statement.
Having worked in different and prestigious law firms, such as Jara Del Favero, Barros y Errázuriz and Shearman & Sterling in New York, and in the case of Brotfeld (pictured, far left), as an in-house counsel at electricity company Transelec, has given the three a comprehensive vision of the reality and complexity of investment projects, enabling them to provide their clients with advice based on knowledge and strategic experience for the long-term development of their projects.
“Constant changes and evolution in the areas of practice that we develop will bring about different needs for clients. The challenge is staying ahead of those changes to become active partners in the generation of value within the activities undertaken by our clients,” according to Javier Ruscica (pictured, centre).
