Andersen Global has announced a collaboration agreement with Bogotá-based law firm Jiménez, Higuita, Rodríguez & Asociados (JHR), giving Andersen an entry into the South American country, the 10th country in Latin America in which it has a presence, with a total of 900 professionals in the region.

Mark Vorsatz of Andersen GlobalJHR, founded in 2017, employs approximately 50 legal and tax professionals, each with deep legal experience within accounting. JHR provides services to national and foreign companies, both private and public, and specializes in tax, customs, and exchange law.

“We are a young firm, but we have a desire to be the very best in Colombia,” said Julián Jiménez Mejía, JHR’s managing director.

“That drive has enabled us to grow so quickly and double our size in just two years. Our ambitions for our firm continue to increase, and we look forward to broadening our service capabilities and ability to provide seamless service worldwide even more alongside Andersen Global,” he said.

“This group has come into the marketplace by storm and certainly caught our attention. They are already competitive with the ‘big four’, and it’s that entrepreneurial spirit, rooted in a strong commitment to being best-in-class, that we anticipate will create such a successful collaboration with Andersen Global,” Mark Vorsatz (pictured), Andersen’s global chairman and Andersen Tax LLC CEO, said.
