Cariola counsels EPM Chile on $138m wind farm sale
Chilean law firm Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos has advised EPM Chile, a subsidiary of EPM Colombia, on the signing of an agreement to sell its shares issued by wind farm and EPM Transmisión Chile to two GENER Group companies in Chile.
EPM Transmisión owns transmission assets in Chile.
The value of the transaction is $138 million.
Cariola’s team was led by partner Sergio Díez (pictured), with associate Francisca Salas.
EPM was advised by PCM Abogados’ Ignacio Campino, Gerardo Montes and María Paz de Carcer.
Gener was advised by Claro & Cia., whose team comprised Rodrigo Ochagavía and Valentina Vizcay.
