Baker McKenzie represented Estácio Participações, a Brazilian education business, in connection with its acquisition of the Brazilian portfolio of Adtalem Global Education.

EstácioThe transaction advances the company’s strategy to become a leading workforce solutions provider, and is slated for completion in the first half of 2021, and is valued at 1.92 billion reais ($465 million).

The lead lawyers engaged on the transaction were New York-based Alan Zoccolillo, Kai Kramer and Matthew Hayes.
