Argentina’s Becerra Abogados appoints of counsel

Becerra Abogados has announced the incorporation of Alejandro Martín Becerra as of counsel, following his retirement as a judge in the 10th criminal and correctional tribunal of Argentina in Buenos Aires after a career of more than 30 years as a magistrate.

Alejandro Becerra of Becerra AbogadosBecerra worked in Argentina’s judiciary during 47 years, having been named secretary of the fourth court of appeals in 1985, a post he held for five years, before being named a judge of the national criminal court in 1990.

In 1993, with the modification of the penal process code and the reinstatement of oral tribunals, Becerra was named a member of the oral tribunal in the 10th criminal and correctional tribunal, a post he held until 2019. 

Becerra will bring his ample experience and academic knowledge to the firm as of counsel, and will be a valuable source of consultation and a prestigious addition to Becerra Abogados, the Buenos-Aires based firm said.
