Baker McKenzie assists Pfizer on JV with GlaxoSmithKline
Baker McKenzie in Mexico has acted for Pfizer in the creation of its joint venture (JV) with GlaxoSmithKline, in which the two pharmaceutical giants are combining their consumer healthcare businesses.
The JV brings together two highly complementary portfolios of trusted consumer health brands, including GSK’s Sensodyne, Voltaren and Panadol and Pfizer’s Advil, Centrum and Caltrate, among other, and is worth $11 billion, according to the law firm.
