Carey acts for Science Haven on financing round
Chilean law firm Carey has acted as counsel to Science Haven, a New Zealand-based biotech company specialised in human fertility, on the structuring and implementation of a financing round through convertible notes issued in Chile and New Zealand, with Chilean family offices as lead investors.
The operation, the value of which remains confidential, was complex because it involved the structuring of mirrored convertible notes issued by two different jurisdictions, the law firm said.
Carey’s team was led by partner Francisco Guzmán (pictured), with associates Andrés Latorre and Carlos Alcalde.
