Demarest hires RE partner
Brazilian law firm Demarest Advogados has strengthened its real estate practice with the hiring of partner Marc Stadler.
Stadler (pictured), who comes to the firm from Koury Lopes Advogados (KLA), will co-head the practice together with Lucas Tavares Bueno. Stadler’s hire takes the firm’s partner count to 65 and follows Demarest’s recent hire of an investigations partner from KLA.
Stadler speaks German and formed part of KLA’s German desk and brings experience in rural real estate deals, land acquisitions and matters related to the agribusiness sector.
Demarest’s managing partner Paulo Coelho da Rocha says the firm is seeing growing client demand in real estate law, especially related to complex financial structures.
“[Marc’s] ability to structure different types ofreal estate developments, along with his vast coordination and leadership skills, will be a strategic asset forour growth in the sector,” Rocha said.
