Demarest adds compliance partner

Brazil’s Demarest Advogados has recruited Eloy Rizzo Neto as a compliance and white-collar investigations partner to head its compliance practice in São Paulo.

Eloy Rizzo Neto of DemarestRizzo Neto (pictured) joins the firm after 17 years with Koury Lopes Advogados (KLA), where he worked on compliance, investigations, white-collar and complex litigation matters. He is the second lawyer to be hired from KLA in late 2019, with real estate lawyer Marc Stadler having also been hired as a partner from KLA in December.

He joins Demarest’s compliance partners Carlo de Lima Verona, Bruno de Luca Drago and Fabiola Emilin Rodrigues in the practice.
