NetDocuments reports strong growth across Latin America

NetDocuments, the cloud-based content services platform for law firms, corporate legal teams, and compliance departments, reported strong growth in Latin America in 2019, where it serves law firms in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

Bárbara Gondim da Rocha of Rocha, Marinho E SalesNetDocuments’ acceleration in Latin America is attributed to a variety of factors, including a dedicated account management team and the availability of the most modern, mature, and trusted cloud platform best suited to deliver security, mobility, and productivity tools in high demand by regional firms, the company said in a press release. In addition, the initiation of a partnership/sponsorship arrangement with Lex Mundi, a network of independent law firms, has strengthened ties with law firms across the region and globe, the company said.

Law firms are replacing existing document management systems with NetDocuments as a way to ‘future proof’ their technolog, as platform security, governance, productivity, and collaboration across foreign office networks are critical to delivering exceptional client service.

“The NetDocuments cloud platform provides firm-wide access to the latest security and productivity tools,” Bárbara Gondim da Rocha (pictured), head of knowledge management and innovation at Rocha, Marinho E Sales, a corporate and litigation law firm with 12 offices and 900 legal professionals throughout Brazil, said

“Ease of use and user adoption are critical to our ability to best serve our clients with leading edge technology,” Da Rocha added, whose firm purchased NetDocuments in August 2019.

“It is extremely rewarding to see the explosive growth of our customer community across Central/Latin America, Brazil, and the Caribbean as firms recognise the value and competitive advantages that a modern and secure cloud platform provides,” Marriott Murdock, senior director for Latin America at NetDocuments, said.

“2019 was a banner year for NetDocuments in the region, largely due to our strong relationships with established sales and implementation partners. It’s exciting to see the customer community growth and continued appetite for modern technology. Firms are responding to client demand for improved security and data protection solutions along with productivity tools their legal professionals need for anytime, anywhere, and any device access.”
