EGFA Abogados advises Goldman Sachs on AES Argentina loan
Argentina’s Errecondo, González & Funes (EGFA) Abogados has advised Goldman Sachs in Argentina on a $20 million loan to AES Argentina Generación, the local energy generation affiliate of The AES Corporation.
The loan will be used to finance projects being undertaken by AES and its affiliates.
EGFA’s team was led by partners Javier Errecondo (pictured) and Facundo Goslino, with associate Delfina Lynch.
AES was advised in the US by Shearman & Sterling and in Argentina byi ts in-house counsel Ivan Duranto and María Florencia Frega Ferrare.
Goldman Sachs was advised in the US by Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.
