Pinheiro Neto advises banks on Corteva Agriscience issuance

Pinheiro Neto has advised the banks underwriting a 589.2 million reais ($131.7 million) notes issuance by Brazilian agribusiness company Corteva Agriscience.

Tiag Lessa of Pinheiro NetoThe transaction involved the structuring of a receivables investment fund (FIDC), by means of which clients of Corteva Agriscience, an agricultural unit of DowDuPont, would be able to advance the payment of the receivables resulting from the sale and purchase transactions carried out with Corteva.

Pinheiro Neto advised Banco BNP Paribas Brasil and XP Investimentos in their roles as underwriters of the offering.

The law firm’s team was led by partners Tiago Lessa and Caio Ferreira Silva, with associates Rafael Gaspar, Felipe Tucunduva Heemstede, Luis Guilherme Vergueiro and Brenno Allaim de Sousa.
