Carey counsels Bci on Pagos y Servicios investment
Law firm Carey has advised Chilean bank Bci on the procuring of authorisation from the Financial Market Commission (CMF) of a minority investment in Pagos y Servicios, a non-banking payment card operator.
This is the first time a bank has been authorised by the CMF to organise and hold a minoritary stake in a non-banking payment card operator company in Chile.
Carey’s team was led by partners Diego Peralta (pictured) and Francisco Ugarte, with associate Diego Lasagna.
