Gómez-Acebo & Pombo advises Brazil’s Movile on Wavy sale

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Brazil’s Movile Group on the sale of its Wavy platform to Swedish company Sinch AB for $119 million.

gap sociosWavy is a business messaging provider in Latin America, the second-largest message provider in Brazil, and also operates in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Paraguay. while Sinch provides cloud computing solutions.

The transaction involved a 355-million-reais cash payment ($63 million) and 1,534,582 new shares in Sinch.
