Sergio Bermudes completes João Fortes restructuring

Brazilian law firm Sergio Bermudes Advogados has epresented local construction company João Fortes Engenharia and its 62 subsidiaries in its 1.3-billion-reais ($238.7 million) restructuring.

Marcelo Carpenter of Sergio BermudesThis is the first judicial restructuring of a company during the Covid-19 pandemic in Brazil.

The restructuring process was made more complex by the fact that the company is listed on B3, the São Paulo stock exchange.
