Carey counsels Mitsubishi on Bergé Automoción stake purchase

Carey has acted as Chilean counsel to Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) on its acquisition of a minority stake of the share capital in Bergé Automoción, a vehicle distributor active in Europe and South America.

The transaction implied joint work across European and Latin American jurisdictions as Carey advised Mitsubishi regarding all the Chilean aspects during the due diligence process and in the structuring of the transaction at a local level, the firm said. 

Carey’s team was led by partner Jorge Ugarte (pictured), with associates Pamela Morales, Angélica De la Carrera, Camila Mandiola, as well as anti-trust partners Lorena Pavic and José Pardo.
