Enel Américas engages Carey as Chilean counsel for $150m loan
Chilean law firm Carey has represented Enel Américas as local counsel on a $150 million loan granted by a syndicate of banks.
The banks are BBVA New York Branch, Bank of Nova Scotia and Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank.
Carey’s team was led by partner Diego Peralta (pictured), with associates Nadia Jara and Kriss Andía.
Winston & Strawn acted as international counsel to Enel Américas, Morales & Besa acted as local counsel to the syndicate of banks, and Davis Polk & Wardwell served as international counsel to the banks.
