Argentina’s Mitrani Caballero adds tax litigation partner
Argentinian law firm Mitrani Caballero Ruiz Moreno has announced the addition of Gloria Gurbista as a partner in its tax litigation and customs practice.
“Welcoming Gloria to our studio is a motive for pride,” founding partner Cristian Mitrani said. “Gloria brings her vast experience and seniority acquired at a prestigious law firm to our tax litigation and customs practice, and to strengthen our team in an area that will grow in the coming years,” he added.
Before joining the firm, Gloria (pictured) was a partner at Teijeiro y Ballone Abogados, a firm specialising in tax law. She is an expert in local tax laws and she has been recognised for her work by publications such as International Tax Review (Tax Controversy Leader and Women in Tax), Best Lawyers and Chambers & Partners.
Gloria jons a practice with two former judges, two partners and six associates.
“Gloria’s arrival is consistent with our growth strategy and ratifies our position as one of the major Argentinian law firms,” the Buenos Aires-based firm said.
