Marval advises agents on Aeropuertos Argentina issuance

Argentinian law firm Marval O’Farrell Mairal has advised the placement agents on a $40 million notes issuance by local airport operator Aeropuertos Argentina 2000

Robert E. Silva MarvalThe company issued the amount in 0-per cent, US dollar-linked notes due 2022, and which are authorised for listing and trading on the Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos and Mercado Abierto Electrónico markets, repectively.

The organisers and placement agents for the issuance were Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina), and Banco Santander Río, along with Macro Securities, Allaria Ledesma & Cía, BACS Banco de Crédito y Securitización, Puente Hnos. and Balanz Capital Valores.

Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 (AA2000) is the biggest airport concessionaire in Argentina, managing 35 of the country’s 54 airports. 

Marval has previously advised the company on numerous occasions, including the company’s issuance of notes in 2017 and their exchange offer in 2020 in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as on the IPO of Corporación America Airports, the parent company of AA2000, and the granting of certain credit facilities to AA2000 in 2019 and their refinancing.
