Linklaters advises on Telecom Argentina bond exchange
Linklaters has advised the dealer managers on Telecom Argentina’s exchange offer and consent solicitation, and the Issuance of $388 million in bonds due 2025
The law firm advised Citigroup Global Markets, Santander Investment Securities, HSBC Securities (USA), Itaú BBA USA Securities and JP Morgan Securities on the exchange offer and consent solicitation for all of Telecom Argentina’s outstanding 6.500 per cent notes due 2021, with a principal amount of $465,853,000, in exchange for newly issued 8.500 per cent senior amortising notes due 2025, plus certain cash consideration.
The aggregate principal amount of the new notes is $388,871,000.
Telecom Argentina is a leading telecommunications company that provides fixed-line public telecommunication services, mobile voice and data services, international long-distance services, data transmission and Internet in Argentina.
