MBCR adds new partner as Dispute resolution and Real Estate head

MBCR has signed Camilo Ramírez Zuluaga as the new head on both practices

The firm MBCR (formerly Márquez Barrera Castañeda & Ramírez), announced the appointment of Camilo Ramírez Zuluaga (pictured) as a new partner in the areas of Dispute Resolution and Real Estate law.

Ramírez is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, a specialist in Administrative Law from the same university, and holds a master’s degree in Law from the Universidad Externado de Colombia. He also obtained an LLM in International conflict resolution and Economic Law from the Queen Mary University of London in England.

Before joining MBCR, worked at Banco Agrario de Colombia, and firms such as Mayorga & Mayorga Abogados and RZ Asociados. Since 2012 he has focused his practice on litigation, arbitration and consulting in private Law and real estate.

Ramírez also works as a professor at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Also serves at the Superintendence of Corporations and the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce as arbitrator and secretary of arbitration tribunals.
