Ortúzar Vergara & Boetsch has promoted Diego Navarrete and Benjamin Morales to partners

The Chilean firm Ortúzar Vergara & Boetsch announced the promotion of two of their associates to partners and the hiring of María Elena Pinares as an associate.

Before joining Ortúzar Vergara & Boetsch, Diego Navarrete (pictured left) worked as a foreign associate at Chaffetz Lindsey LLP, New York (2018-2019). His professional experience also comes from Schweitzer y Cía (2013 – 2014) and Centro de Estudios, Infocap (2010 – 2013). He graduated at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2010 and has an LLM. from the Columbia University, NY (2018), where he was honoured as Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.

Benjamin Morales (pictured right) worked at Prieto y Cía. (2009-2016) before joining Ortúzar Vergara & Boetsch as an associate. He graduated at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2010 and is Magister in Criminal Law by the Universidad de Talca, 2016. Besides his work as lawyer in the firm he is Civil Law professor at the Universidad del Desarrollo.

María Elena Pinares has been lured from López Escobar del Río where she has been working since 2019, and previously she worked at Carey. She integrates to the firm as an associate.
