PPU Colombia counsels Radio Cadena Nacional on a trademark case
PPU Colombia has advised Radio Cadena Nacional on a process toward recognising the ownership of LA MEGA
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría advised Radio Cadena Nacional S.A.S. on an opposition proceeding through which the LA MEGA, one of the most recognised radio stations in Colombia, was declared well-known by the Trademark Office. The matter involved a highly skilled and complex evidence work to prove the market recognition of the trademark in the Colombian market.
It is an exciting case in which the client obtained the recognition of the well-known character of LA MEGA trademark for five years (from 2015-2020).
