Pinheiro Neto advises Aegea and ABC Brasil on debenture issuance

Pinheiro Neto has counselled both issuer and underwriter on the $56 million issuance

Pinheiro Neto Advogados advised Aegea Saneamento e Participações S.A. (issuer) and ABC Brasil DTVM S.A. S.A. (lead underwriter) on the fifth issuance of simple debentures, non-convertible into shares, in a single series, of the unsecured type, for public distribution, with restricted placement efforts, of Aegea Saneamento e Participações S.A., under CVM Ruling No. 476, of January 16, 2009, as amended.

The estimated value of the transaction is $56 million. The proceeds obtained through the issuance will serve for investments and/or reimbursement of expenses and/or debts related to investments and strengthening of the Company’s liquidity reserve.
