Lefosse adds partners to Power, Utilities & Renewables Team
Lefosse Advogados has strengthened the team with partners Raphael Gomes and Pedro Dante, and counsel Bruno Crispim
Lefosse Advogados announced the new incorporations to its Energy team: partners Raphael Gomes (pictured left) and Pedro Dante (pictured centre), and the counsel Bruno Crispim (pictured right).
Raphael Gomes concentrates his practice on energy and infrastructure and heads the firm’s Energy Group. He has extensive experience in representing parties on energy and infrastructure M&As and financing transactions. He took part in operations related to utilities, infrastructure funds, investment banks, and private equity firms in a broad range of matters, including regulatory and litigation, across the sector. Raphael is a visiting professor at Escola da Magistratura Federal, Escola Superior da Advocacia – ESA/SP and Universidade de São Paulo – USP in the Energy MBA Program, and vice-president of the Instituto Brasileiro de Estudo do Direito de Energia – IBDE. He received his bachelor’s in law degree from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro School of Law and his Master’s degree in Corporate Law with specialization in Energy / Regulatory and Civil Procedure from FGV-RJ.
Pedro Dante is an Energy partner, and he is São Paulo-based. His practice focuses on regulatory affairs in both the Free Contracting Environment (ACL) and the Regulated Contracting Environment (ACR). He has extensive experience advising international companies on all aspects of energy and regulatory law, including administrative proceedings and litigation. He received his bachelor’s in law degree from Universidade Santa Cecília School of Law and a Master’s degree in Public Law from Sociedade Brasileira de Direito Público.
Bruno Crispim is Energy counsel in the São Paulo office. Crispim has a broad knowledge of renewable energy transactions, including wind, electric, solar (solar thermal and photovoltaic), and biomass. His practice extends to litigation and arbitration, covering a wide range of regulatory matters in the power sector. He graduated in law from Universidade São Bernardo do Campo School of Law. Also, has a Master’s degree in Corporate Law from Pontificia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC/SP) and post-graduate studies in Energy Law from Associação Brasileira de Companhias de Energia Elétrica (ABCE).
