PPU Colombia counsels Sophos on sale to Advent
PPU Colombia has assisted the shareholders of the company too
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría steered Sophos Solutions S.A.S. and its shareholders (Bolsa de Valores de Colombia S.A., Atul Malhotra, Amitt Agarwal, Mohanraj Subrahmaniam, Kaushal Vinodchandra Sheth and Mauricio Mosseri) in connection with the acquisition of an 84,83% stake in Sophos Solutions S.A.S. by Advent International through Global Gorgona SL.
Sophos Solutions was founded in 2006 by Indian visionaries and entrepreneurs, and since 2015, Grupo BVC has been its majority shareholder. The company has been a critical ally for the digital transformation and implementation of technological systems in financial institutions in Colombia.
The value of the deal surpasses $50 million.
