Gómez-Pinzón advises FinDev Canada on Bancoldex financing

Gómez-Pinzón Abogados has counselled Development Finance Institute Canada on a $10 million credit to finance companies affected by Covid

Gómez-Pinzón Abogados advised the Development Finance Institute Canada (FinDev Canada), in the $10 million credit granted to Banco de Comercio Exterior de Colombia S.A. (Bancoldex).

This credit will be to finance small and medium-sized companies affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Specifically, Gómez-Pinzón advised the client on the negotiation of Colombian law matters of the loan agreement.

Gómez-Pinzón’s team was led by partner Daniel Londoño Pinzón (pictured), and involved senior associate Catalina Prieto Núñez and junior associate Ricardo Díaz Rodriguez.

Hunton Andrews Kurth assisted from New York to FinDev Canada with a team formed by counsel Siddharth Sethy and partner Vera Rechsteiner. 

Development Finance Institute Canada’s in-house counsels were Shereen Aly and Angel Bohorquez.

Bancoldex’s in-house counsels were Felipe Eduardo Arias Gómez, José Luis Cañas Bueno and María Paola Carvajal Galeano.
