Pinheiro Neto steers Cubico in the sale of two companies

Pinheiro Neto Advogados has assisted in the sale of MS Participações Societárias and Santos Energia Participações

Pinheiro Neto advised Cubico Brasil S.A. on the sale to AES Tietê Energia S.A., subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions precedent outlined in the Purchase Agreement, all shares of the two holding companies, MS Participações Societárias S.A. and Santos Energia Participações S.A.

These companies currently operate windmill farms in Rio Grande do Norte and Ceará states. The value of the deal reached $152 million.

Pinheiro Neto team was led by partners Fernando Alves Meira (pictured left) and Tiago Moreira Vieira Rocha (pictured right), and involved associates Ricardo Busana Galvão Bueno and Tiago Cruz.

Cescon Barrieu Flesch & Barreto Advogados assisted AES Tietê Energia with a team led by partners Ronald Herscovici and Ana Paula Calil, and involved associates Matheus Bittencourt Fernandes and Nina Souza Costa.
