Carey steers CCB and other banks syndicated credit agreement

Carey has assisted the bank consortium in a $350 million to refinancing Pacific Hydro Chile

Carey advised China Construction Bank as facility agent and other banks as creditors on a syndicated credit agreement for $350 million to refinancing Pacific Hydro Chile’s existing debt under another syndicated credit agreement executed in 2017.

Carey team was led by partners Felipe Moro (pictured left), and Alberto Cardemil (pictured right), and involved associates Tomás de la Maza and Nadia Jara.

White & Case acted as international counsel to CCB and other creditors with a team formed by partners Brendan Quinn and Candice Ota, and associate Lia Adalia.

Barros & Errázuriz acted as local counsel to Pacific Hydro with a team formed by partner Francisco De la Barra, and associates Jean Andre Petit and María José Bordalí.

Linklaters was the international counsel to Pacific Hydro.
