TJ/SP completes 147 years of history
Celebration the 147th anniversary of the court brings exhibition in virtual form
The São Paulo Court of Justice turns 147 today (3/2). Even with its traditions and history, the court manages to maintain its joviality since it is constantly renewing itself. This is because they are committed to keep up with social changes and technological advances. An example of this is the virtual trial sessions; of being a court that is on social networks and even has podcast.
“To complete 147 years of life and not be ‘old’ is an extraordinary achievement. This is the case of the São Paulo Court of Justice, which maintains its traditions, honoring its history and all those who built it, but at the same time is an institution that is constantly being renewed, because it understands that the distribution of Justice must accompany the changes in society and technological advances,” says a text of homage published on the court’s website.
The exhibition celebrating the 147th anniversary of the court, “The Bandeirante Court of Justice: its history, its characters”, idealized by the TJ-SP Museum, brings the content for the first time in virtual form.
