S&A promotes senior lawyer to partner

Ecuadorian Solines & Asociados has promoted Diego Beltrán Bastides to partner to head the law firm’s digital, environmental and constitutional practice areas

This appointment is part of the firm’s commitment to retaining the best talent and boosting the internal career plan. Diego Bastides joined Solines & Asociados in 2018, prior to which he worked as a legal advisor in Madrid.

Bastides focus his practice on Entertainment Law, New Technologies, Environmental and Constitutional Law.

Diego (pictured) graduated in Law from the Universidad Católica del Ecuador. He holds a Master’s degree in National Security Law from the George Washington University in Washington, DC, with a specialization in Digital law, Cybersecurity, Computer Crimes, and Privacy law and a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property and Copyright law from the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid.

He has counselled local and international clients, which include companies, start-ups, and foundations, in the promotion and protection of their rights in both the real and virtual spheres of law, Regulatory Compliance, Social Responsibility, and Environmental law.
