L.O. Baptista Advogados has announced two new partners. They are Tonico Monteiro da Silva (pictured left) and Silvia Rodrigues Pachikoski (pictured right), renowned names in the arbitration area.
The initiative is part of the redesign of the corporate litigation area, recently announced, with the purpose of transforming it into a large Dispute Resolution area.
With the arrival of Silvia Pachikoski and Tonico Monteiro, the Dispute Resolution practice now has seven partners and 20 professionals.
Tonico graduated from the University of São Paulo (USP), holds a master’s degree in Civil Procedural Law from the same institution, and an MBA in finance, communication and investor relations from Fipecafi. He was a partner at Lilla, Huck, Otranto, Camargo e Messina Advogados since 1993, when it was founded and was one of the founders responsible for the organization of the Litigation department, and also a partner at Grau, Forgioni e Monteiro da Silva Advogados.
Silvia graduated from the University of São Paulo (USP), with an extension in International Arbitration Program from American University, Washington D.C; Corporate Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and Civil Procedure from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP). Before joining L.O. Baptista Advogados, he founded Rodrigues Pachikoski e Staffa Neto – Sociedade de Advogados. In addition, she has also held important coordination and management positions.
