Toledo Marchetti Advogados has promoted João Paulo Pessoa as an Equity partner
João Paulo has extensive experience in Public Law in the infrastructure sector, focusing his activities on PPPs (Public Private Partnership) and concessions’ projects.
He holds doctorate and a master’s degree in State Law from PUC/SP, where he teaches on the Postgraduate Course, is a Director of the Basic Sanitation Division of The Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP), member of the Special Commission on Basic Sanitation and Water Resources of the CFOAB, the Brazilian Institute of Legal Studies in Infrastructure (IBEJI), and the Brazilian Institute of Construction Law (IBDiC).
In 2021, in addition to the promotion of João Paulo Pessoa as an equity partner, the firm intends to make five more lateral hires of lawyers, as demand is increasing.
These advances reflect Toledo Marchetti’s growth strategy, which aims to become the main reference in the Brazilian market of a law firm focused exclusively on the infrastructure sector.
