Machado Meyer Advogados acts as legal advisor to Magazine Luiza through its subsidiary Softbox, in the purchase of SmartHint

pjimage 78Machado Meyer advised Magazine Luiza S.A., through its subsidiary Softbox Sistemas de Informação Ltda., in the purchase of all the shares of the capital stock of SmartHint Tecnologia Ltda.

The firm acted as legal counsel performing legal due diligence, drafting the employment contracts to be entered into by key personnel and assisting the buyer in negotiating and reviewing the share purchase agreement and other ancillary documents.

The Machado Meyer team was led by partners Ivandro Sanchez (pictured left) and Rodrigo Seizo Takano (pictured right) along with lawyers Andrea Melo Fialho, Gabriel Leao Vazami, Gustavo Giordano Tudisco, Julia Akerman Shinohara, Luanna Rodrigues Peporini, and Murilo Caldeira Germiniani.
