Pinheiro Neto counsels Trybe on structuring investment fund
Pinheiro Neto Advogados counsels Trybe Desenvolvimento de Software Ltda. (Trybe Education) in non-standard credit rights investment fund (FIDC-NP)
The Trybe VQV SSI Non-Standard Credit Rights Investment Fund (FIDC-NP) was structured and formed to acquire certain student loan credit rights held by Trybe Education (and subsequently also by a yet-to-be-incorporated Direct Credit Company (SCD) part of Trybe Education economic group).
The credit rights backing the Fund arise from Trybe’s offering of a professional education course in software development and programming and other digital professions and related ancillary services.
The credit rights transferred from time to time by Trybe (and/or SCD) are only paid by students if certain conditions are met, including successful employment of the student within a pre-established timeframe and the earning of a minimum salary arising from activities related to the expertise developed by the student during the course offered by Trybe. If any of these conditions is not met, then the student is released from payment.
