Carvalho Sica Muszkat Vidigal Carneiro Advogados expands its practice in fintechs and payment means

CSMV Advogados has hired Paulo Pinotti (pictured), who will work in the Banking, Payment Means and Fintechs area, headed by partner João Fernando Nascimento.

Paulo Pinotti, headed the legal department of Mastercard Brasil/Latin America for 18 years. He has experience in the credit and debit card industry, fintechs, Pix, open banking and regulatory sandbox.

The lawyer has a law degree from the University of São Paulo Law School and an LL.M. from Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium. Pinotti was an international associate at Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe, in New York, and led Mastercard’s legal department in Brazil/Latin America for 18 years.
