BMAJ counsels Wheaton in execution of $290m dollars streaming financing agreement
Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana has advised Wheaton Precious Metals International Ltd. in the execution of Precious Metals Purchase Agreement
Chilean law firm Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana has counselled Wheaton Precious Metals International Ltd., to execute a streaming financing agreement named Precious Metals Purchase Agreement, in connection to the production of gold from the Santo Domingo project, a large scale, fully-permitted, copper-iron-gold project in Region III, Chile (the “Project”).
This international transaction, which was closed on April 21th, included the participation of Chile, Canada and Barbados, and had a value of $290,000,000 dollars.
Upon closing, in consideration for the sale and delivery of the refined gold, Wheaton will pay Capstone an upfront deposit of USD 30,000,000 and additional deposits of $ 260,000,000 dollars.
