Felsberg advises WPP Group on acquisition of DTI Sistemas

Felsberg Advogados advised WPP Group on the acquisition that will strengthen the group’s ability to offer complete digital transformation solutions

Felsberg Advogados advised WPP Group on the acquisition of a 75% stake in DTI Sistemas Ltda, a software company in the state of Minas Gerais that is a leading custom software business development company.

The deal was signed in February 2021 and closed on April 30, 2021, after approval by CADE.

DTI is the first technology company in Brazil to be acquired by WPP, but the acquisition is in line with its goals of expanding its operations in the areas of experience, commerce and technology.

“This is one of WPP Group’s largest acquisitions in recent years and will help consolidate WPP Group’s position as the world’s leading creative business transformation group,” says Miriam Machado (pictured), corporate and media partner at Felsberg Advogados, who led WPP’s advisory team.
